Mr. West was born and raised in Spokane, Washington.  After graduating from North Central High School, Mr. West went on to attend the Pac-12 powerhouse Washington State University where he completed a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Economics.  Mr. West and his wife Katie have two daughters and enjoy many soccer-filled weekends throughout the year.

After working as a financial advisor, Mr. West began his career with Harper Incorporated as a Senior Economist in January 2003.  For ten years, Mr. West received formal training in the field of forensic economics and business valuation as well as valuable on-the-job experience working on hundreds of litigation cases involving economic damages.  Mr. West also has extensive trial experience, which involves the ability to simplify complex financial subject matter and explain it to a jury in the most effective way possible. 

Upon Mr. Harper’s retirement, Mr. West took over the litigation consulting business in January 2013 and changed the name to West Economics, Inc.  The Company continues to be a market leader in the field of forensic economics to attorneys, claimants and insurance companies throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Mr. West is passionate about his work and strives to maximize the quality and value of services that he provides on each and every case.
